Please listen to your local radio station for this information. In the rare event of an early dismissal due to severe or worsening weather, contact with a parent or alternate must be made before students are permitted to leave the school.

If the school is open, but buses are cancelled, any students transported to school by parents must be picked up
by parents at the end of the school day (3:10). Students are asked not to arrive before 8:35.

If buses are cancelled, we will follow an alphabetical dismissal based on student’s last name. We do ask that
you respect the time slots to ensure the safety of all students:

• 2:30 – 2:40 – (A,B,C,D,E)
• 2:40 – 2:50 – (F,G,H,I,J,K,L)
• 2:50 – 3:00 – (M,N,O,P)
• 3:00 – 3:10 – (Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z)

***We kindly ask that you put a sign in your front windshield indicating the last name of your child(ren).  

***We also ask that you communicate in writing (note in the agenda, email) to your child(ren)’s teacher and CC the office if alternate arrangements have been made for pickup by someone else. We understand that weather can be unpredictable and can change throughout the day. If changes for pickup occur later in the day, after 12 pm, we ask that you contact the school as soon as possible as teachers are not always able to check email throughout the instructional learning day. Please email the office or call and leave a message.

If your child is not a bus student and you are keeping them at home due to uncertainty of weather conditions, please
call the school to inform us of their absence. If the absence is weather related, please leave that information in your
message.

This attached is to provide further information and inform you that this service will be taking place within your child’s school during the 2023-2024 school year.

For individual route delays and cancellations, parents / guardians are asked to visit each morning and end of day for important notices.
