Skiers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the team. We have had beginner skiers in grade 9 make it to OFSAA in grade 10! The team has several sets of equipment available for students to try out for free, or borrow for the season for a small fee.\u00a0The season starts in late November with dry-land training, and then when the snow arrives, we head out on our AHSS trails for the real thing!\u00a0 We also have 2 full days of on-snow training at North Bay Nordic Ski Club, in addition to several races starting\u00a0in January, with the season wrapping up with OFSAA at the end of February.
