Since various\u00a0school subjects teach knowledge and skills that\u00a0often apply to the real world, the\u00a0Co-operative Education Program allows students to earn course\u00a0credits by attending a work\u00a0placement rather than\u00a0a classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Co-op placement hours can even count towards an\u00a0apprenticeship. Every year, co-op students are registered as apprentices through the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program. Often, a successful\u00a0student placement can even lead to payed employment.<\/span><\/p>\n
