Students experience new subjects, new friends, more teachers and a rotating timetable. As students explore their new environment, they gain increased confidence and independence.\u00a0\u00a0Our new Ravens learn school cheers, participate in extra-curricular activities and enjoy many aspects that make up our Chippewa school culture.<\/p>\n<p>A variety of transition activities are planned to help orient your Grade 6 child during the school year. These activities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>School Newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Visits by Grade 7 and 8 students to feeder schools<\/li>\n<li>Visits to Chippewa for special events<\/li>\n<li>Grade 6\/8 Parent Night<\/li>\n<li>Mini Raven Day transition activities<\/li>\n<li>and more...<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through these activities, students will gain a familiarity with their new school, meet their new teachers and learn more about the extracurricular opportunities available to them.
