T\u200bhere is a wealth of information to assist students with course selections, apprenticeships, career development and post-secondary education.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\"><strong>Course Selection<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Through their courses, students can explore career and interest options, complete compulsory credits and earn prerequisites for post-secondary programs.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>Timelines:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Students access the school calendar through the Career Cruising website from December onward<\/span>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">In February guidance counsellors will assist students to produce a draft of their course selections for parent approval<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Approved course selections will be &#8220;locked in&#8221; by the beginning of March<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Student timetables are usually available in June for students with conflicts or special scheduling concerns\u200b<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/page\/high-school-graduation-requirements\">What do I need to graduate?\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.edu.gov.on.ca\/morestudentsuccess\/dualCredit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">What are dual credits?<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Student Services Department is a resource to help students during their time at F.J.
