Graduating with an OSSD is possible through this program. As well, assistance with the application process to colleges and\/or universities is available after graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\"><u>Personal Support Worker (PSW)<\/u> <strong>(Theoretical learning in a classroom and on the floor implementation in a long-term care home)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">NNDSB has partnered with Cassellholme in North Bay, Belvedere Heights in Parry Sound, West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls and Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa to provide Personal Support Worker (PSW) training in a living classroom. Participants will do their theoretical learning in a classroom then apply those skills on the floor of the long-term care home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">This opportunity is available to people aged 18 and older. Participants who do not have a Grade 12 diploma can earn up to six Ontario Secondary School Diploma credits while training to become a PSW.
